The status is NOT quo.

‘Suela, get an Alaska Air FF#; they’re partnered with American AND Delta, and you can get miles on both using your Alaska #.

Ooooh, cool! And I'm more likely to fly Alaska for work, since I have been sent there twice for work.

Shit. shit. Shit. I just found out all the groups I was going to join for insurance now have a minimum number of employee rule. (They did not used to.) So my current insurance plant terminates July 1. No individual plan will take me because of my high risk. I'm looking, but at the moment can't find any group plans I'm eligible for. There is a high risk pool, which charges 1,200 per month has a 2,000 deductible and does not cover a bunch of stuff. No way I can do 1,200 a month for insurance. Not a question of tough. Cannot do it period. I guess I need to see if my income is low enough for medicaid.

Trust my rage

Today I have washed/folded/put away two loads of laundry plus a load of diapers. And vacuumed upstairs and downstairs. Took out the trash and loaded and unloaded the dishwasher. Now Sammy and I are off to grocery shop and pick up some pictures. I am tired.

But I also got to meet Suzi and Kelly yesterday, which was fun. Frisco was very impressed that they had the Incredibles. And I *finally* got the nail polish box out of here.

Don't qualify for medicaid. Basic Health for people who don't qualify for medicaid is full - multi=year waiting list. There is something called Washington Health Plan which is Spartan, but at least offers some coverage which it look like I may qualify for - premium $300 per month which is reasonable. 30% copay for everything. Filling out form to see if I qualify.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good luck, Gar. I hate that getting health coverage is so hard.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

My co-op maintenance includes everything—heat, hot water, gas, electricity, taxes. My COBRA costs more than all of that.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Gosh I wish someone would come along and stomp all over our god-given freedom to market-driven medical care.
