Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You can prepare for a blizzard.

Yeah, but the thing is you *have* to prepare for the winter, every fucking year. The thought makes me want to cry.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Fuck Phelps.

I can't understand what turns someone so unreservedly towards evil. But I truly do see that church as sowing nothing but hate and evil in the world.

Last night I came home so tired and cranky and headachey that I just crashed after tucking the kids into bed. And then my sleep was interrupted repeatedly: Isaac came into the bed around midnight, I woke up to pee around 3, Franny climbed into our bed around 4, I gave up and left for hers around 5, and 6:30 she appeared back in the room rummaging around the bed I was in trying to find all her puffles!

But I had a great dream when I woke around 3. There was this old house with a huge yard, more like the grounds of a mansion. I don't quite recall the set up for the house now, but I can still see the house. And there was a pond in the middle of the grounds with an old gazebo, and there was a couple there, unrelated to the owners, who were getting married in the gazebo. But it looked more spooky and gothy than anything else, and then suddenly the couple was gone and it was just the maid of the Lady of the manse, tending to the Lady. It seems her mistress was a witch who practiced rather dark arts, and who was now sleeping in the pond, her body mostly underwater except for her face. And the maid was lamenting that her mistress was now, "to be counted among the recurrently living." I took that to mean she was a zombie.

Because books.

Burrell, that's an excellently gothy dream.

What is a puffle, though?

Puffle! or rather puffle! They are the pets of the penguins on Club Penguin, which is a kids' website from Disney where you can register for a penguin avatar and play games. My daughter and one of her friends have created a puffle menagerie at school, and the girls take them home on alternating weekends.

Well, Winter is coming.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I hate winter more than anything else except tornadoes.

Kat? Kat? Is that you?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Whereas, Nora, I hate high humidity more than anything else, which probably explains a lot about where we're respectively living.

Maybe I should get on the Move-To-Tucson-Before-I-Die plan already.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Move to Tucson! Tucson is a great town!
