I find that yogurt fills me up more quickly, though

That's because there's a lot more protein in yogurt than hummus, even more so if you have Greek yogurt. IIRC, Chobani has 15 grams of protein in a 6-oz container.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Who eats 2tbs of hummus??

Someone who has already filled up on cheese.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I suspect the mountain lion is secretly glad there was glass, because Zeus looks ready to take him on.

Danica McKellar is in the elite group of child stars who grew up good, CF Wil Wheaton, Ron Howard, et alia.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Danica McKellar is in the elite group of child stars who grew up good

Statistically speaking, I bet most of them grew up pretty well, just not in the biz any more. Just because you aren't making headlines anymore doesn't mean you aren't good.

I see your jury waiting room and raise you an ER waiting room.

I vote with ita ! It's not much of a contest, though, because my county has redone its jury waiting room to be full of comfy chairs and books from the county library.

re: mountain lion.

That's a Maine Coon, they don't think they're little. I'm sure Zeus figured it would be a fair fight.

A Maine Coon cat certainly try to take down a mountain lion. That's why my Maine Coon cost me more in vet bills than any other pet.

I catsat a Maine Coon once for a co-worker. That cat was the a real armful, which I was reminded of repeatedly. Once she emerged from her hiding spot in my closet after staying there for four days, she realized I was a soft touch for petting and would stay curled up in my arm for hours on end while I scratched her head and neck until my arm went numb. She would just drool and drool, and purr and purr, and then when I would finally put her down because my arm was so stiff, she'd want back up immediately.
