That's a Maine Coon, they don't think they're little. I'm sure Zeus figured it would be a fair fight.

A Maine Coon cat certainly try to take down a mountain lion. That's why my Maine Coon cost me more in vet bills than any other pet.
I catsat a Maine Coon once for a co-worker. That cat was the a real armful, which I was reminded of repeatedly. Once she emerged from her hiding spot in my closet after staying there for four days, she realized I was a soft touch for petting and would stay curled up in my arm for hours on end while I scratched her head and neck until my arm went numb. She would just drool and drool, and purr and purr, and then when I would finally put her down because my arm was so stiff, she'd want back up immediately.

I've never heard of that. Now I will go check it out, because I bookmarked both of the mathy site links.
Black sequined (big, clear ones, so not super sparkly) mini with black tights, black heeled boots, black turtle neck, and a red box purse. Huh. It doesn't look bad, but I'm not sure I would have gone for black sequined skirt during the day. I'm people watching (or judging, I guess. Tsk, tsk) in Starbucks.
Ok, Jess, I'll try it like that. Do you use warm water?

I wash clothes on warm, towels/diapers on hot. I get 3-4 loads out of each bag of nuts.
Warm water reminded me -- I know a lot of people here use neti pots, but I've never gotten the hang of them. Has anyone used a sinus rinse (in a bottle)? A woman in Denver told me about them, and said they're great. Thoughts?
Someone just brought up Seth Green on the conference call. Of course, this is the same guy who said "You said 'touch' and 'but' in the same sentence." so I'm not sure it's a vote for anything good.
On another project they switched out the overall business analyst, which is a good thing, since he was useless, but he completely didn't tell me. He kept discussing the project with me like he was still on it, or something, when in reality he'd been off it for at least a couple of days. In reality, I think he looks worse now, with the pretending to still be attached.
I mark papers on the computer using highlighting and comment boxes (no strike-through as I want my students to make the actual changes on the essay). But I can easily understand why someone wouldn't want to mark papers in red if students react badly to it. At least for me, the primary message I want my student to hear is not "this is why your paper sucked" it's "here's the way you can do this better next time."
There's a cupcake truck near my office today. So I got three: 1 for me and 1 each for the admin staff.
My tiramisu cupcake is staring at me. I think I need to finish digesting lunch, and then get a cup of tea, first.
