I am laboring under the impression that chickpeas are a good source of protein, too, but I may be reading the same internets as Jessica.
Ooh! Jessica! That reminds me, I bought the soap nuts from Lehman's. So far I like them! I thought I could just throw them in the bag, but it turns out for my front-loader I have to make the liquid soap. Which I complained about in my head, but turned out to be totally easy. Only the instructions on the bag say to use "1/4 cup in both the detergent and fabric softener containers." Does that mean, a total of 1/2 cup? Because I haven't been doing that.
Casper's third grade class uses red pen for correction - they do in-class markups of their own work (quizzes and worksheets and stuff - it would be hard to accurately edit their essays themselves.) If 8 year olds can take it, I think college students can.
And calcium. Calcium is important!
Indeed! And hummus may have a ton of protein, I don't know -- okay, my hummus container says 2g of protein in 2 tbsp of hummus. (As soon as I posted that, I thought, "wait, hummus is chickpeas, so it has protein too! ...Someone is totally going to call me out on that.")
I find that yogurt fills me up more quickly, though, which is sometimes what I want these days -- something to make me Not Hungry for a little while!
I thought I could just throw them in the bag, but it turns out for my front-loader I have to make the liquid soap.
Really? I have a front-loader and I just throw the bag in with my clothes.
I see Allyson reinforcing my theory that if there is a hell, it's the jury pool waiting room.
I see your jury waiting room and raise you an ER waiting room.
I hate track changes because it makes the text so illegible. I only keep it on when I make a certain type of edit, and not that many of them. I think it's much clearer on paper.
In other news, this document is killing me.
Who eats 2tbs of hummus?? I mean granted I usually eat half the tub at a sitting, but 2 tablespoons seems like not much!
I find that yogurt fills me up more quickly, though
That's because there's a lot more protein in yogurt than hummus, even more so if you have Greek yogurt. IIRC, Chobani has 15 grams of protein in a 6-oz container.
Who eats 2tbs of hummus??
Someone who has already filled up on cheese.
Zeus the cat confronts a mountain lion.
I suspect the mountain lion is secretly glad there was glass, because Zeus looks ready to take him on.
