"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So Lindsey Lohan. She's always in the news, always violating something, I had forgotten the chronology.

Here is a helpful list in case you care. Perhaps even if you don't.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thanks for the birthday wishes everybody. It helps take the sting out of grading on my birthday.

Happy birthday Calli! Yay birthday twins!

Happy Birthday, Burrell and Calli!

If I got somewhere 45 minutes early for an interview, I would go find a cup of tea and read the paper (or stress over my resume).

Heh. Once upon a time, because a friend gave me a ride, I was very early to take the GRE (this was the last paper administration of it). And the person in charge (a priest! It was on the Catholic U campus!) said "Oh, go get some coffee or something, we aren't starting soon" so I wandered off and got a paper and got back just as they were sending all the left-handed people to another building (!?) and I followed those people, only to discover that somewhere in my peregrinations, the slip that let me in to the test had fallen out of my pocket. I raced off down the paths to find it, and did, and got back just in time (the proctor was saying "What happened to that girl who lost her slip? Oh well, we need to start...")

So I advise not going FAR, if you're chilling while early. IJS.

So, here is an artist with very sensitive skin who uses her skin as art.

Her site is totally slashdotted.

Oh man, I'm sending that to my sister. (Who also has dermographia.)

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Congratulations Jon and FAQwife! Welcome to the world, Aaron. You've got good parents.

Happy birthday, Calli and Burrell (and anyone else I've missed in my sporadic posting)!
