A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Nice, Jilli! I like the font also!

Tat lust reinvigorating.

Looks at bills. Sighs.

40th birthday a better milestone to get tatted, anyway, right?

ION, I look like an idiot. I have Manic Panic all over my freshly permanently dyed hair, plastic wrap and a do-rag over it, and the earpieces of my glasses are covered in plastic wrap also. I get to look like this for 3 more hours.

Sexy.

Congratu-fucking-lations, Vortex! Wonderful, overdue news.

And a baby about to start breathing air any moment.

Very nice, Jilli.

Exciting day here.

I'm on vacation until next Wednesday. Parents arrive tomorrow night. Just hope I have everything in the order I want it by then. At which point, my father will drive me slowly insane by rearranging and otherwise taking over. But I'm looking forward to seeing them.

In terms of milestone tats, yes. Probably.

That was me a few days ago, so don't feel bad.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Love the tattoo, Jilli. I like the swoopy bits on the 'g', it hints at motion and momentum.

Skippy skimmed, that's all I've got.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, this is kinda petty. I mean, seriously, keep it in your head if you have to keep track.

Ahahaha. So, part of the motivation for the tattoo was because "Get out of your own way" is something I need to be constantly reminded of; I have a bad habit of ... fretting about stuff, instead of just getting on with doing what I do.

Today, after getting the tattoo: email about a very interesting job lead, and email about a work-for-hire book project that looks like is going to take off. As I have said previously, my life runs on temper tantrums and serendipity.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Just buy new ones?

Yes.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jilli,

I LOVE that tattoo. Just love it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Jilli, I love the new tattoo. I need that reminder myself. I have gotten in my own way more times than I can count.

Just, that, ah, I don't put those things in my mouth as far as she's concerned.

Heh. Misread this and thought you were referring to general knowledge of gender identity issues, and then wondered why you wouldn't want your mom to know you knew.

I am having reading issues today.
