Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My evil little heart is cackling. I called KCD this evening to tell him about CJ's dentist appointment and request his help in paying for the fillings he needs (KCD can't offer any funding help right now, darn it). At one point in the discussion he called me "babe". I paused and he apologized. Then he had to get off the phone immediately. I have a feeling the new wife heard him and was giving him an earful. I know I shouldn't giggle, but I can't help it.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

And I would have posted much sooner, but Lucky decided to greet me the same way. Total revenge for saying out loud how glad I was that it wasn't my cat this time.

sara, I obviously made it home. Thank you for a wonderful evening, especially once I recovered the power of speech.

Suzi, you are not evil. I'd be giggling too.

Ugh, I'm so sorry msbelle. I wish things were less frustrating for you. Wings can cure a multitude of ailments, though, and I approve of your recovery plan.

Kat, congratulations on finishing the half marathon, and my fingers are crossed that the new nurse remains on the same wavelength as you and K.

Stephanie, I'm sending good thoughts your way. I hope you continue down the path that makes you happy.

but Lucky decided to greet me the same way.

Bwahahah! Yeah, that is so unfair.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Maria, my grandmother-in-law was asking how you were doing this weekend. She's been keeping you guys on her prayer list.

She's pretty awesome that way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My mother went home today. I'm sad she didn't go home on schedule, which was Friday, while I was there. I would have liked to help integrate her into her new daily routine. But taking it slow is good. Her Wednesday (or was it Thursday?) was awful. Just awful. Chastened everyone. But that's all done with now. Our helper will be happy to be able to, ah, help, and there may be a nurse coming in too, so she can have sane and well rested help 24/7.

It's frustrating, because there's no middle ground--a week isn't long enough, but what can you do? The key thing is to not be insane where she can see,

Because books.

Home is good, though. I'm glad she's recovering pretty well.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Home is good, and it was great that you were there when you were.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So far this week, I have been full-on Bartleby the Scrivener at work: I would prefer not to.

Ugh!

She's pretty awesome that way.

Like some other people I know. I mean really... if this place got any more awesome, there wouldn't be enough left for anyone else in the world.

The key thing is to not be insane where she can see,

Yes. A thousand times so.

But that's all done with now.

I'm still learning to let go of the bad days so that they don't taint the good ones. It's a process.

ita, I'm glad she's home. You're doing what you can, when you can, and your mother knows it. Don't chastise yourself for not doing everything.

Jesse, I see your ugh, and raise you an oy.

ND, yes it does. Though W to E is easier for me than E to W.
