Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yeah, it's just awful, Cass. I kinda don't know what to do with it. I just feel terrible about it.

Honestly, there is nothing to be done with it.

It's a damned dangerous sport and the participants and fans know that and, usually, respect it. But, oh, this is the worst thing that can happen. It was a terrible day. Awful.

There's no way I am not crying myself to sleep eventually. I can't stop. The best I can do is (re)watch things from my dvr and then delete them. Because keeping them would be too gruesome and sad for me.

And given that they are up to 4 episodes and only keep five on at once: if you think you might want to try it - you probably only have until a week from Thursday to watch the first episode.

Thanks. I do want to watch it. So I appreciate the reminder.

So sorry, Cass. It's just horrible.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Sorry, Cass.... very sad.

Back from SF and the half marathon. They ran out of finisher's shirts in an size other than, XS, S or M. People are gonna be PISSED.

My knee is feeling terrible, but the ice bath helped 100%. Even if it was cold as hell.

Now to bed and work and my regularly scheduled program of exhaustion.

(OH! I did walk 40,000+ steps today though!)

I'm sorry your knee hurts but that is a fantastic number of steps!

It's just horrible.

It's really sad but I think that footage and telemetry and everything will show that Dan Wheldon was gone when he hit. It's as close to comforting as I will find tonight.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's really horrifying, Cass. Just awful.

Can't wait to get home and watch Supernatural. I'm way behind on most TV, but that needs to be fixed first even if it sucks. C'mon shuttle, be more super and go faster.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My priorities are totally in line, thank you.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Remember that non-Rapture back in May? Well, this is supposed to be our last week on earth. [link]

Oh, in complete agreement, ita ! Humor got lost in translation; my bad.

aurelia, somehow, I will avert concern and continue with my life.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hope you are home and watching SPN, ita !

I had a very good day. There was snorkeling and fish tacos and dinner made by shrift, and wine.
