I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Using the short form of my name, one of my doppelgangers is a 9th Circuit justice. But male.

One of the others of me is a professor of social welfare in Atlanta or something.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

That poor little girl with my name has been slaughtered twice on television, and has no idea why.

Ha! Ahem. Well, it would be funny now. Maybe not when I was two.

Oh god, there's another one: [link]

That's kind of nutty. But not in a cheetah on a squash court way.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I have a bazillion doppelgangers out there - including my stepmother.

Yes, that gets odd at times. My dad has taken to using "Anne the Elder" and "Anne the Younger" if he needs to clarify which one of us he's talking to/about.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Onerous: took pub-trans downtown on grimy, rare hot SF day to deal with gov't agency.

Bonus onerosity: Wasted trip! Nothing accomplished.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

When I was single, my name doppelganger was my cousin, who was white and married into the family, very controversially. She was the first, it's all good by now.

Now, there are a few of me out there, a paralegal in Texas and a real estate agent in Asheville. There's more, probably, but those are the ones I know offhand.

Oh, that sucks, David. My onerosity is going badly. I really don't like these tasks. But that's why they're still on my desk. And they're necessary. And I would like the SO to come home to a completely up to date office.

But first I want dinner. Which is what I said at lunchtime. So one more 15 minute session of onerous and then I can make a start on dinner. I really just need a nap.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I have one name doppleganger that I know of. Don't remember what exactly she does, but it's fairly high up in a big company.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I have a doppelnamer who lives in the Bay Area and was a high ranking exec for Chevron. There was another one who died at Andersonville. And another one who is a fighter pilot who flew in Iraq.

(All people of my last name are related, incidentally. We all descend from one guy who had his name mangled from the German when he came to America in the early 1700s.)

However, I am most of the first page of hits when I Googlebate.
