I am working until I go to my 90-minute massage at 4:45. Not really finding a whole lot onerous about that.
Natter 69: Practically names itself.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Um, you're an English 12, right Jilli?
English 14/US 12. Something that it has taken me AGES to learn.
I also oneroused by accident! Had to be a reference for someone. It was a weird outsourcing reference firm, which made me kind of sad.
Ugh, 7am flights, why do you hate me, Virgin America?
This is Homecoming Week - it is one long onerous task.
Everyday telling people that we aren't giving out t shirts - they have to go to "Yell Like Hell" to get them. . . so so tired of it.
ION - Ringer got a full season order.
Onerous: client phone call & followup with an estimate. aka the biz. We hates the biz, and much prefer the actual making of things, but the biz is necessary to feed the making.
I had no idea that gummy bears soaked in vodka are the new jello shots.
Don't do it. This is nasty, vile stuff. Trust me.
I fail at onerous tasks today. I should get going on my fiber-optic project.
Given that the study was funded by people who want to RUN A TRAIN through SEVERAL PLAGUE PITS, it seems a little convenient.
Yeah, given that the results are accepted by the scientific community, and that it's been confirmed in studies over (by my count) five different European cities, it doesn't seem to be a terribly convincing objection.
I fail worse. I got most of the paper typed up, but with incomplete sources and not enough info, I'm going to go to our field trip tonight without a paper, and just email it to him later tonight. I'll get dinged a point for being a day late, but it'll be done correctly at least. I'm going to head back to campus after our field trip (at the School of the Art Institute Library) so I can get my sources in the reference section correct, including page numbers. The library on campus is open until midnight, so I can finish off the paper and email it before they close and still be home by around 12:30 or so.
I cancelled dentist appointments in Georgia for kids and adults, and walked 2 miles to get the kids. I only had to walk 2/3 of the way back, because our neighbor came and got us. Her daughter passed us on the street on her bus, and told the mom where we were, and begged the mom to come get us so she could play with my kids. Now they are all outside singing, loudly and badly. (There are city buses that could cut out some of the walking, but not on any kind of convenient schedule. For the record, my kids' walking pace is about a mile every 38 minutes.)
