Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Trust my rage

In case everyone was dying to know, I fixed the toilet. Thank goodness because I've been more prone to queasiness since pregnant and I could not have handled any more ick.

The garbage disposal story is funny. I wish your electrician was closer. We have this thing in the house where the outlets you would use the most are loose? sort of so nothing stays plugged in to them and everything requires a certain amount of jiggling before you get a connection. That is my first thing to fix once I know the house is mine.

Now tagless for your comfort.

There are so many books I want to read--the new Stephen Greenblatt book, among them. I swear, once of these days I will take the time to sit and read a whole book in a couple of days like I used to.

I had no idea that gummy bears soaked in vodka are the new jello shots.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

javachik, I hope that your homeownership is smooth sailing from here on out, at least for a good long while.

Wut.

So, I decided to read All The Internets instead. Oh well, still a pretty productive evening.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I asked the recent college grad and her response was "Oh, didn't know gummy bears were new, figured that was old". Her favorite is when someone cuts an orange in half, pulls out the fruit, then does the jello shot in the shell. Easier to get it out than when using dixie cups.

I've heard the gummy bears suck up alcohol and get HUGE. And since someone brought them up: [link]

Now I have to go hunt up a picture of one just to see. If you had asked me, I would have predicted that they'd dissolve.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Anybody got a link to the Belinda? I just finished watching a Japanese flick with and evil cat named Blanche and baby crying and it reminded me of Belinda. I need to share the evil.

Because books.

Boy, kids these days. Can't they just knock back some grain alcohol in Kool-Aid the way we used to?
