Because books.

Why do you have to leave the house? I've gone whole weekends without leaving the house.

I did take Sara to the bus *in* my sleep clothes yesterday morning, though. With an added sweater and actual shoes.

Signed,

Thrive to spite them

I don't like turtlenecks, I don't have a huge head (I don't think) but everytime I see my self in turtlenecks all I can think of is I have a Potato Head.

I do like a cowlneck sweater. It shows some of my neck and makes me feel less like a potato head.

I don't think I own any thing pink. Right now I'm wearing grey sweat pants, a purple sweatshirt, with a blue hoodie top under it and an aqua tshirt. For some reason I'm freezing

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think my bread machine is telling me things. Bad things.

Bonus-doesn't sound like it is eating its own motor now. Does sound like it is saying KILL.

For the record, I refuse to take direction from any household appliance. Except maybe the coffeemaker.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I used to love turtlenecks. Now I can't even button the top shirt button--eck.

Nilly! We're good.

Good for Grace's surgery going well.

msbelle is the cutest.

I don't think I own anything pink. No, that's a washed-out, faded red. Really. It does have boob pockets, though. As do all my Dean Winchester-type canvas and chamois button-downs. And I do occasionally use them to corral a lost button, a flash drive, a pen cap, a dime. Nothing bigger or heavier than that.

Ok, I'll bite - tell me what's seriously wrong with me.

Exception that proves the rule!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm in black and white and red today (b/w houndstooth skirt, black boots, white blouse, red cardigan. No pink, sorry.

My pink polo I'm currently wearing is the only pink thing in my wardrobe, outside of a few pairs of underwear.

I bought a few mock turtlenecks for this winter--with my short neck, mock is the way to go, otherwise a real turtleneck just gets bunched up.

I just ordered a few argyle sweaters and am trying to talk myself out of ordering more. Also trying to avoid buying a corduroy button-up big shirt that I can layer with my mock turtlenecks. I've been getting so cold without my insulation that I need more thick shirts/sweaters than I have in the past.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why do you have to leave the house?

Apparently it has something to do with setting a circadian rhythm. Changing clothes is also supposed to contribute.

I've run errands in my sleep clothes, when my sleep clothes are a t-shirt and yoga pants, and the errands are short and trivial and urgent.

I have a big head, but I also have a long neck. I've never thought about how I look in turtlenecks except for how they make my boobs look bigger.

Jilli, you're totally compliant.

I want argyle sweaters. I do have argyle socks.

Because books.

I was talking to the new Finnish au pair at the bus stop, and asking about the midnight sun, or complete lack of sun. She said, yeah, it pretty much just sucks either way.

I know the brand but not the model number, so I can't find them online right now. I'll post a pic after I find out the info from the doctor's office.
