And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This has got to be one of the weirdest TV reviews I've ever read.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

This has got to be one of the weirdest TV reviews I've ever read.

When my security blanket needed to go into the laundry, my mother always told me it was going to Playland, which was the local amusement park. [link]

My nephew had surgery to put plates/pins on his collar bone yesterday, and apparently is now in a lot of pain. I wish we could do more for him, but my DH is in NYC all this week and next and then leaves for a trip to Sri Lanka and Geneva.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Are funny and weird mutually exclusive?

They don't have to be, I suppose.

I'll clarify my previous comment. I did not think it was weird; rather, I thought it was meant to be a funny, OTT riff.
