Oh good, askye!
Yay, sj, on the insurance, and smonster on the practical plumbing, and All Best Luck to Glamcookie, and woohooh! to Erin and Dan stepping up.
Ginger, did you manage to get an earlier appointment?
And has anyone heard from Stephanie?
Alllllllergies are kicking my butt, too. CHOO! I shudder to think what life would be like for me in NC right now. 430-some known indiginous allergens. Hardy people, those early NC-ians.
There was no *new* SPN Friday, it was a rerun. New one this Friday.
This is weird. I just checked my credit report, and the address of a college where I worked for one summer, five years ago, was just last week added as a "former address" for me. I wonder how that happened.
Beverly - I just sent Stephanie a text checking in. I haven't seen her post anywhere online since the hearing.
Waiting is the hardest part. I have facilities helping to hang a wall rack in the new theater. Dude is going to get needed supplies. I'm just hanging out waiting. Everything I need to do is on computer in office, or things need testing in the workshop. Feels wasteful... But, it is what it is. In the meantime, I have my iPad.
Sorry you are stuck in a holding pattern omnis. I'm trying to get a few things done in the office before I head off to more rehearsals and then a preview tonight.
Hitting "Get Mail" over and over will make the mail from the HR guy show up faster, right?
No, Laura and Beverly, I have not gotten an earlier appointment. The person who seemed to really try to help did call back today to say she'd had no luck.
About two weeks ago, one of the doctors said she'd schedule another blood test to keep track of the anemia, but never said when she was putting the order in for. The nice gastroenterology person also looked that up for me, and it's in there, so I'll get one tomorrow. Maybe the results will offer a clue.
In the meantime, my arm with lymphedema suddenly broke out with red blotches that look suspiciously like the infection one is supposed to be on the lookout for. If it's no better first thing, I guess I'd better take it to a doctor tomorrow.
I would like to be frozen and thawed when they have a cure for everything, please.
I heard back from Stephanie. I asked if she wanted me to pass along a message and she said yes. "I'm emotionally exhausted (we were in court from 8am to 6pm) and physically tired from not sleeping. But things turned out okay. Not great but okay. Please let them all know that and thanks for the support."
Thank you, Suzi.
It's 5:15 pm, I've been here since 1:30, and all I'm doing is sitting in my car. I'm going to be filmed in a traffic jam, but for now just waiting, waiting. Hey, I'm getting paid to read, right? Left Frankie outside with food and water - he can get into the shed, which is nice and cool - and left food down for the cats. Ah, the life of an extra.
