Apparently it doesn't take any staff to keep someone it the hospital for three extra days.
Right? I mean, why not let him go home for crying out loud?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I wonder how many nurses it takes to cost the same as a cardiologist? My guess is at least six.
So, Frankie costume #1 is kind of a bust. The lion's mane is too heavy and I don't think he'll tolerate it for long. So now I have to text my friend C and see if she can help me whip together an elephant costume this afternoon. Oy. Not sure it's worth the hassle for $20 and a chance at a prize, but honestly I'd love to dress him up regardless.

You articulate my raaaaaage precisely.
What about a hat and a lot of beads, smonster?
Ugh, Steph. I'm very glad that your dad is OK right now, but the whole situation is seriously rage-making. I hope you can de-stress soon.

A tiny top hat! He can be his own ringmaster.
Laura,
fuck this. Can you go to the attorney general? In this climate, I think the AG might be sympathetic. I also think you need to file a Fed Reserve or OCC complaint. I'm serious. If they are being this assholey, perhaps you have nothing to lose.
BTW, I suspect the judge might rule in your favor. I think you should take a chance with the judge. I know your personal reserves are worn out, but hang in there.
Steph,
I'm glad your dad is okay and that he is discharged. It's all bullshit though.

Dogs in tiny top hats are GOLD.
Laura, seconding le nubians suggestions and if that is no help then go to the local news and make a big fuss. The bank should not be allowed to get away with this bullshit.
Laura, maybe contact your federal Senator. Especially if they are Democrat. I think they would love to champion your cause in this election year. Also, I can't help but wonder, if the bank is wanting your house for other reasons. Like, are they trying to swindle all the houses in an area for freeway bypass, or train, or mineral rights, or some such. It seems odd that you are trying to make payments, and they won't let you. And on top of that, they are not giving you a list of the charges?!? Crazy.

IOmerealestateN, the place I have the offer on, the short sale, a negotiator for the selling bank has been assigned. This is step 2 of the process (step one being the offer itself). The fact it took only a couple weeks rather than 4-6 is a good sign. And it's Wachovia bank, which apparently handles short sales better than most.
