Ginger, did you get the impression from his message that "catch up" = "sexytimes"? He may not be in that place any more, and might just want to see you and how you're doing platonically.
You get to decide how you want to interact. If you'd like to have dinner with him, go for it. If you're not ready for sexytimes, that's something that's totally up to you and he has to live with it.

I have three tatas (HA! leaving THAt typo in!) and I want a wrist tat. I'd love to add to the other tats, but I want the wrist tat first.
I have the three bats on my left forearm, the woman's face in ivy above my left breast, and the huge tribal fairy wings across my shoulders. The tattoo I'm getting in the next two weeks is "Get out of your own way" on my right forearm.
Then in Jan/Feb, the memorial tattoo for my Mom.
Haven't moved yet, nope! I'm going to go home tonight and see what I've got to lend/give you.

Yay, tattoos! I need to find an artist down here, but it'll be a long time before I can afford one, sadly. I don't know which one of the four I have planned I'd get first; owl, fleur de lis, luna moth, oak tree. Possibly the luna moth, just because I know exactly what I want and where. Just need to find an artist who can do photorealistic fauna in color.
Gronk. We had a wonderful day in Oxford today, but the jet lag and all the walking are catching up to us tonight. Also, I have yet to find my sticky toffee pudding. We went to a pub tonight specifically because they had it on the menu and they were out of it.
