I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

Update - sleep helps. Eye is totally irritated, but did not in fact burst into flames.

Even so, I can't tell you how tempting it was to get up early and leave a human-shaped pile of blue confetti on the bed for DH to find.

I feel so terrible for the Raid woman. Now I need to look up Morgellons.

I'm so glad Teppy is around to calm us down from all of our medicine fears. I'm terrified of every new pill I take, so I am especially glad you're there, Teppy.

Speaking of knowledgeable Buffistas, I wish I could show all my paint samples here so everyone could help me choose. I doubt they would scan properly, but my meatspace people are not helping.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Why can my dental surgeon's office not contact my insurance company directly? The surgeon's office sent a letter to me (at my parents' address -- I have no idea why they even have this address) asking me to contact the insurance company to get the Explanation of Benefits, and have the insurance company send it to me, so that I can send it to the surgeon's office. This is remarkably inefficient.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

sj, what I've found really helpful in the past is to tape all the chips up to the wall and leave them there for a few days. You can get a sense of which ones catch your eye in various lights. It won't be quite the same if you aren't able to do it in the new place, but even so it should help you narrow down the choices.

Thanks, brenda. I'll try that. Our new bed quilt just arrived link so right now I am trying to match the paint colors to the lighter of the two blues in the flowers.

sj once you narrow it down to a few choices you might want to get some wood about 12x12 and buy small samples of paint and pint the boards to get a better idea of the colors.

My dad did this &we thought he was being weird and obsessive but it really helped him pick a color.

What paint are you using, sj? The probably have the colors online. Also, most stores that sell paint these days have the magic color matcher machine, so you can just take in the quilt.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Happy paint picking, sj!

So, if I'm going to meet with someone at an environmental nonprofit about volunteering, I should still dress professionally (knowing I will likely outdress them) and bring a resume, justincase?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

sj, that's a lovely quilt.

Choosing paint colors is fraught with difficulty. I still haven't found the right green for the upstairs bath.
