Ben ,'The Killer In Me'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Was the toxicity from the Raid or this was prior to the Raid?
The toxicity was from the Raid. I think (but I can't remember, because we published it back in the late 90s) that she may have also wrapped her arms and legs with plastic wrap after the Raid, because she didn't want it to rub off, so she really helped the absorption of Raid into her system.
I can't remember if she had mental disabilities or not; I feel like she did, and the Raid thing made sense to her and no one was apparently monitoring her to realize what she was doing.
Maybe she had Morgellons
My best guess is b/c it's formulated with citric acid, so you want to flush it out well. Which you did.
And, if your skin around the eyes is anything like mine, could be some swelling and ugh from the irritation. Cool compresses are once again your friend though.
poor woman. man.
Maybe she had Morgellons
I find the whole Morgellons thing kind of compelling and disturbing because I can't imagine what it takes to convince yourself that your body is producing plastic threads.
Update - sleep helps. Eye is totally irritated, but did not in fact burst into flames.
Even so, I can't tell you how tempting it was to get up early and leave a human-shaped pile of blue confetti on the bed for DH to find.
I feel so terrible for the Raid woman. Now I need to look up Morgellons.
I'm so glad Teppy is around to calm us down from all of our medicine fears. I'm terrified of every new pill I take, so I am especially glad you're there, Teppy.
Speaking of knowledgeable Buffistas, I wish I could show all my paint samples here so everyone could help me choose. I doubt they would scan properly, but my meatspace people are not helping.
Why can my dental surgeon's office not contact my insurance company directly? The surgeon's office sent a letter to me (at my parents' address -- I have no idea why they even have this address) asking me to contact the insurance company to get the Explanation of Benefits, and have the insurance company send it to me, so that I can send it to the surgeon's office. This is remarkably inefficient.
