Universe, seriously, Maria has had enough. Let's move her over to the only good stuff column at once.
Nothing Ma for Maria. Also my 90 year old mother has had reoccuring skin cancer since she was 50. The cut off the mole, get it all and she is fine, and then it comes back a few year later and she is still fine.
Tons of nothing~ma headed your way, Maria.
Maria, tons of ~nothing~ma your way!!!!
fiber bar...
After the crazy of the past two weeks, is it wrong if I really don't want to do anything today? I mean, I've already picked up $30,000 worth of new gear, broken down the boxes, put them out to the recycling container, paperwork, e-mails and lunch. I really don't feel like setting up headsets for tech... Ugg. I need a spoon maker to make me more spoons! Long Lasting Spoons! And/Or a transporter.
Maria sending lots of ~healthma your way.
So Penny got spayed at the animal shelter Thursday. Yesterday I noticed it looked like there was a hematoma right under where the incision was. I haven't been able to keep her quiet so I called the vet and described what I saw (blanking on the term hematoma until about an hour ago) and they didn't understand what I was saying. But I also wanted to get a Cone of Shame for her since she was licking the spot.
I took a picture of the place to show and ask if I should bring her in and went to get the Cone of Shame. The receptionist showed it to a vet tech who just said "I won't diagnose for a picture" and I replied, I wasn't looking for a diagnosis, I wanted to know if I needed to bring her in right away. There was some confusion over whether I should, and finally I made an appointment for Wednesday at 10:30.
I got home and tried to tie on the Cone of Shame with gauze according to how the vet said. Penny got that thing off in record time. So I got her a collar, set it to the tightest setting and used that. She got it off in less than 10 minutes. So I called the vet back and asked for suggestions and they said to put her in a onesie.
Except I couldn't find a cheap one that looked small enough and I think I'm going to try the Cone of Shame thing again.
Much nothing~ma to you, Maria.
I don't know how small Penny is, but maybe a premie size onsie would work, askye?
I was thinking that but I didn't find one, but I'll go looking again harder tomorrow. Maybe I'll go look and see if I can find a dog tshirt for a really small dog, maybe that will work.
