So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

I'm so sorry Pix & ND.

Way too early to be in motion. And yet? Here I am.

not your mom's socks.

The advantage to this early is that I won't remember much of it. See also: GRONK.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Still not dead. Unbelievably busy. Made the stupid decision to start making a podcast, just in time for the start of semester and my second year but at a new university. Brain is 'splodey. Have missed thousands of posts and a new thread and the chance to discuss a half-season of Doctor Who. Oops. Hi all!

Happy birthday, Omnis!

We're meeting Seska and her dear wife later this week.

We are, we are! Yay! Glad you met Jars. She's so much fun. Hope you're enjoying your trip!

Pix and ND, I'm really sorry to hear about Byron.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

(OK, I blame the spongey bread more than the dishes. What is that stuff??)

It's called injera.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Because I think the board could use some better news: I've uploaded some more photos of Ryan and family. I'll do a bit more about organising them tomorrow, but to hold you for now: [link]

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Seska!! I was just thinking about you and wondering how you were. Yay for the good kind of busy.

More Ryan pics! Will check out when not on iPhone.

Scalp wounds bleed like a mofo. They just do. I'm not worried about it, though IANAD.

Mmm, Ethiopian. We've got a yummy hole in the wall place around here, may need to make a visit.

Ryan pix are lovely to see first thing in the day! I see he's entering his blue phase, artistically. Very nice

Holy crap. Two dogs just attacked Frankie at the park, with no warning or provocation that I could see. Everyone's okay, no blood, and the other owner removed his dogs immediately. I need to change my shirt because Frankie was doing a submissive pee as I scooped him up. Coming down off the adrenaline now.

eta apparently that dog doesn't like small dogs, I learned from another owner. And Frankie is bleeding - one puncture wound and one deep cut. My neighbor who's in med school cleaned it and put gauze on it and recommended taking him to the vet. So, as soon as I figure out which credit card has more room on it, I'm off to the vet. Not how I wanted to spend my one day off this week.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh no, poor Frankie! Poor you!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Poor Frankie! Poor Smonster! That's no way to start the day.
