Tracy: Well-- That call -- That call means you just murdered me. Mal: No, son. You murdered yourself. I just carried the bullet a while.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Happy Birthday, Omnis!

Sorry about Byron, Pix and ND.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

{{Pix and ND}} so sorry about Byron.

Happy Birthday, Omnis!

amyth, hope your head has stopped bleeding. Can you fashion a butterfly bandage from tape?

My head has almost stopped bleeding. Almost. Trouble is, it's on the back of my head where I can't see, and I have a shitload of hair, which is (sorry for the grossness) now clumped with a shitload of dried blood, which I'm afraid to wash off, because I don't want to get the cut wet and start the whole process over again.

Today, A. and I drive Calli and C. to Barcelona (four hours each way). Calli and C. fly back to NC tomorrow. When A. and I get back tonight, she is going to help me Rinse All The Hair and put a butterfly bandage on the cut. There will be first aid! And hopefully, that will be the end of all this bizness. Because I still have Week Two of France ahead, with A. and her coworker B. who gets in tonight (I've never met him) and no more ridic injuries.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's been a rough day. Not at all what I expected when I got up.

He's a very good boy and will be loved and cosseted for the time he still gets to patrol and rule.

My head has almost stopped bleeding. Almost.

And we're okay with not seeking treatment now .. because?

I get not wanting to overreact but this is either a much hairier situation than I have been in or you need to think about squishing your brain.

It also could be the change of thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is that Jars?

Yes, Jars! We had a great time. I love being able to go just about anywhere and meet buffistas. We're meeting Seska and her dear wife later this week.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm so sorry to hear about Byron. May his days be full of sunshine and naps, of catnip and Holy Tuna Water.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Stuffed! Big Ethiopian dinner. Went to this lil hole in the wall looking place in Anaheim. Big bowl of veggie stuff on a bed of the spongy bread. Ate and ate and ate. Am stuffed. And since the conversation wasn't done, we headed down the street to a coffee shop and had some desserts. A nice evening. But who knew you could get so full on vegetarian dishes?!? (OK, I blame the spongey bread more than the dishes. What is that stuff??)

not your mom's socks.

I'm so sorry Pix & ND.

Way too early to be in motion. And yet? Here I am.

not your mom's socks.

The advantage to this early is that I won't remember much of it. See also: GRONK.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Still not dead. Unbelievably busy. Made the stupid decision to start making a podcast, just in time for the start of semester and my second year but at a new university. Brain is 'splodey. Have missed thousands of posts and a new thread and the chance to discuss a half-season of Doctor Who. Oops. Hi all!

Happy birthday, Omnis!

We're meeting Seska and her dear wife later this week.

We are, we are! Yay! Glad you met Jars. She's so much fun. Hope you're enjoying your trip!

Pix and ND, I'm really sorry to hear about Byron.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l
