I'm sorry about Tucker, SailAway.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, Sail. It has been an absolutely wretched season for Buffista pets, I don't even know. I"m so sorry about Tucker, and glad you still have Eliot.
Spent time today helping StW move power tools out of his ex's shed. She wasn't there. Then we got pizza and watched Colbert. He just left to go do more work. I thought about doing the temptress thing, but I've got shit to do as well. Busy busy, both of us.
There's a realistic Harlequin title "No Time for Tempting."
I'm so sorry, Sail. So hard.
I'm sorry Sail, I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet.

With a split screen cover of StW in his habitual blue hoodie, but no t-shirt, in an exaggeratedly studious pose in front of a laptop; and me, passed out asleep as the clock shows 9 pm, seductive in skully long johns and surround by snoring pets.
I meant to comment on this the other day because it was a positive customer experience.
A couple college girls came in and were buying t shirts or something. And we have these displays of rings for "impulse" (although I've never sold one) and one of the girls looked at them and asks her friend "Do you like these?"
Her friend says "no not really" and the first girl says "You're right they are gay."
I gritted my teeth and I really wanted to say something but I didn't.
Then her friend said "That's not really a good word to describe stuff." And the first girl was quiet for a minute and then said "Okay, these are.....silly" And her friend replied "yeah that's a good word."
I was so glad I overheard the exchange and I still wanted to say something positive but I didn't.
Of course there were also 2 college girls last night spending $60 each on random stuff and all the while saying they hadn't eaten fresh fruit or eaten healthy in awhile because it's too expensive.
I'm so sorry, Sail.
That's a great story, askye.
I had a funny moment with that at camp, where I said very firmly to two 12 year old boys, "We are not going to use that word as a pejorative this week at camp." And then I had to spend half an hour explaining what "pejorative" meant and the lesson was forgotten. But they didn't use it any more that week!
Thanks, all. I really appreciate your kind thoughts, they do help.
