Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Trying to stay present in bitches. Fell a few days behind there. Been a bit stressful, but last night I saw the dance concert, and somehow it pushed the reset button on my stress levels. Most unusual. Never had that before. But I'll take it!! Thank you arts!

{{{ Maria }}} lots of wise words have been said, so I'll just nod and agree. You are in my thoughts.

Health~ma to all that needs it.

There was more, but I'm too tired to recall it all.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well, pants.

I was planning on doing the 2-hour drive to go to the memorial for someone from my Fort Wayne church, but my knees are still achy (I was hoping that they'd get over it overnight), so it's probably not a good idea.

{{{Maria}}} I'm sorry that the in-laws are being difficult. Loss often brings out the worst in people.

{{{Jilli}}} Feel better.

We're waiting to hear back from the seller on the fixes we want made, but in the meantime they have had another offer on the house for more money.

Thanks, Erin. We're still hoping they would rather re-negotiate with us than start again with a new buyer who will also have an inspection and probably find the same problems we did. But between having to use my inhaler several times yesterday because of the cleaning chemicals, the resulting anxiety attack, and then this news right before bed, I did not sleep well last night and sort of want to curl up in a ball and never answer the phone again.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

jeeze, sj. I hope this shit gets resolved quickly.

FWIW, Method cleaners are the only ones that do not send me gagging (the Method clear cleaners). Fat lot of good that will do for you now.

We use vinegar and water in our house and magic erasers. This wasn't our place but the new place which had been extreme cleaned before we got there and I had to spend 3 hours there feeling like crap the whole time.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Random Googling led me to these awesome wall clocks, and now I selfishly want all this homebuying misery to be over and done with so I can get sj and TCG a housewarming present.
