Had another writer's group meeting tonight. Listen to a friend's very humorous new play, and workshopped a new monologue of my own.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Erin, wish I could help. Alas, not a world I've delved in.
Sean, that's great!
Looks to be about 2.5 hours since Maria posted being tired. I hope she is getting some sleep, and it's actually restful.
I think I got about another hour left in me before I'll pass out completely.
(((((Maria)))))
Ah, that's why my skin is itchy. Santa Ana's are starting to blow again.
I need to share my younger kitty with the internets. still slightly damp from his bath, curled up on my lap purring and drooling just the teeniest bit. {{{{love}}}}
Whoa, Malachi's drool STINKS like whoa. Like, really really terrible. Hrm.
erin_obscure, take a look at the scarletteen site for info for the wee sister.
Sorry, erin. I wish I could help with that. Maybe there's something in the Pervocracy blog? [link] she listed a BDSM 101 there. Again, I have no idea how good it is, as it's not my world. (Edit: Jilli's advice is probably better).
ION, Yesterday I was guiding a client at work who didn't want for some reason to read the manual I sent to all of our clients about a system we're offering. There was a point where there was an echo, and I could hear myself.
Man, I have no idea how anyone is able taking orders or instructions from me. It's a miracle. I sound, plain and simple, like a 9 year old on helium.
Late-late/early-early shift checking in.
I am annoyed that I am awake. My very small baby is sleeping soundly next to me. But I guess that means im sort of caught up in sleep.
My brother and family are driving to visit as we speak. I am excited about their visit but also annoyed and I finally figured out why. My parents want bro and fam to have a good visit do they always spend the time before they get here trying to tell me what to do. (Remember, niece can't have sugar; they wi sleep at our house so everyone has space; dont ask brother to help around house because SIL will get annoyed). It drives me nuts because I don't like being told what to do but also, I'm not a moron. I can figure out how to get along with them for a few days. I have social skills!
I wonder what they tell your brother to do/not do while visiting, Stephanie. Maybe you and your brother can have a good laugh about that someday.
My girl woke up crying last night an hour or so after I put her down, and then spent the next few hours in my bed. I have a love hate relationship with having her in the bed. She's cute and it's cozy, but when she actually falls asleep I can't get any because she snores and flails. I returned her to her own bed at about 3 a.m.
