In completely different news, I want a LOT of gold stars, dammit. We witnessed Ruthven mark the bottom shelf on one of the bookcases in the library. We pulled and wiped down the affected books right then, and they're now in a sealed bin with a bunch of baking soda. But I need to go put on some gloves, pull and check everything else on that shelf, and then check all the other bottom shelves.

It's a good thing he's such a cute cat. But wow, not thrilled by this.

Jilli, your cat is very lucky. As much as I love cats, that is one of the reasons I don't have any.

Oh, Ruthven KNOWS he's lucky. One of the frustrating things is that we don't know if he's also the culprit in the ongoing marking in the basement. We had been blaming it on Trin, since she's the one who has been full of RAGE about the babycats.
