Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Poor Teppy and Dana. What a miserable way to spend a night.

I'm eating brown rice. We'll see.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I came across a dog show over the weekend, just in time for the terrier class. I kind of fell in love with a white bull terrier named Cupcake.

I saw that, Toddson. I fell in love with the Australian terrier. I found her website [link]

I also have a fondness for border terriers - my grandparents had one when I was very young.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Dental update: it's just a broken filling. (I say "just" because, given how badly it hurt, I was sure I would need a root canal or need a tooth [or more than one] pulled.) I'm amazed such a small thing can cause so much pain.

The dentist also said the X-ray is showing a bunch of nastiness in my upper sinus cavity, which seems odd to me, since I don't feel any stuffiness. But she compared today's X-ray to one from October, and said that there's definitely a noteworthy amount of gunk in there. So apparently the combination of the broken filling and pressure from sinus junk is what's causing the WHY GOD WHY level of pain.

The dentist can get me in at 2:00 to repair the filling, and has hooked me up with antibiotics and tramadol. (Kato is also on tramadol for his knee, so we can be stoners together. We'll just loaf around in the corner and stare intently at our feet.)

Steph, it's amazing how your sinuses can affect your teeth (I was once scheduled for a root canal when it turned out - yup, packed sinus; one clean-out session and the pain went away). Enjoy your tramadol - it's good stuff - and try to stay awake until you can get to the dentist.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Feel better, Dana and Ginger!

Steph, glad it's a somewhat easy fix.

Hivemind - I need a calorie tracker for iphone. Nothing fancy, free is highlty preferable. I've got some unexplained weightloss going on and my doctor wants to get an idea of the calories I consume daily.
