Aw, askye. Sorry you're doing as well as you thought. Hope getting out tomorrow helps.

JZ, ~ma for an easy and cheap fix for the computer.
beth, did I miss you getting a new kitty or did I just forget?
He was found in the library parking lot about 6 month ago -- he was a little one pound kitten . He is somewhere between 6 and 7 months old . his favorite pasttime is wrestleing with the big boy .
he was in the middle of reading Mark Watches
Even the computer can't believe Mark's take on Dru.
I knew that Mark guy was no good! Nothing but trouble!
Dear TCG,
When I told you what was available in the fridge for dinner tonight, I specifically did not mention the leftover bacon and home fries from breakfast because they were mine.

Askye, if you can, invest in a sun lamp. They can make a huge difference during those long months. Also try to remember that the days are getting a little bit longer every day!
JZ, fingers crossed the Mac comes back to life and doesn't sprout fangs.
Hi all. I have been doing nothing but sleeping. Can't shake this virus. I worked Sunday (open house), Monday, and Tuesday and had just about lost my voice again. Got home at 5 yesterday so tired I could barely stay awake driving, slept for three hours, woke up for three hours and then went back to bed. Had a scary commute this morning where I kept feeling myself nodding off and barely made it through my first period class before deciding I needed to go home early. Got a sub for my other class and made an appointment with my doctor for noon--got there a little early and fell asleep for 20 more minutes in the freaking parking lot. Had my appointment, grabbed some Mexican food, got my bloodwork done to check for mono (she thinks this is just a virus but wants to rule it out), got home and crashed for two more hours. Tired much? Sheesh. Maybe this is the Sandman Virus.
I also have felt exhausted all day. I've been sleeping better these last few weeks, but somehow, being 38 weeks pregnant is draining. I spent an hour at the office today lying on the couch reading emails on my phone. Of course, I keep reminding myself that each might might be my last full night of sleep and that is a little daunting.
Day was too busy for me to even post at lunch.
askye, if you can't afford a light box, try and take a walk in the morning. Get outside and get your dose of sunshine early. It helps with setting diurnal rhythms and such.
Warning, rant ahead. Venting.
I just got the check from my ex-roommate. She's only paying me about a third of what she owes me. And instead of emailing me back to resolve the amount, she just sent me a check with a typed letter, a spreadsheet, and NO RETURN ADDRESS. I'm sure she's hoping I'll just let it drop. She's only paying half of what she owes me for water, saying that it's my responsibility to get ex-slumlord to pay. Bitch had the gall to wish me luck.
She's only paying 2/5 the pet deposit, since she had 2/5 the animals in 2/5 of the house. Fine. It's a $40 difference. But she's refusing the cleaning fee of $25 because we didn't discuss a fee. I charged it because she agreed to help clean the bathroom and kitchen, but all she did was sweep her room. I cleaned the marks off her walls, and spent hours cleaning the kitchen and bath. My old landlord, a friend, charged me $200 to clean my house when I moved out. So I figure she owes me at least $100.
Gah. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Gonna to let my emotions simmer down a bit, definitely not firing off an email right now.
Jonathan kitty is home and doing well - so far he has tried to wrestle Nathaniel, but Nathaniel said no
