Sorry DCJ, that's a lot of blech. And yeah, that preexisting condition shit is bullshit. Man, health care in the US is broken. When does that no-preexisting-conditions clause go into effect?
I think USians have no business making fun of Australian accents. To my ear, the two accents (US and Australian) have a lot in common. A lot of flat vowels. Parts of Ireland have that too.
Muy sensuous, no?
Si si, senor Pingu.

I don't know, but I'm being hit with it, and I have to call the insurance company because they didn't tell me what the condition was that they're not covering. And I am pretty sure I had continuous coverage (I paid out the ASS to have it), so I need to call and figure out what is up.
no prexisting 2014. Wanna bet on whether there are loopholes?
There are some things you count on, like being able to store frozen items outside, or in the garage rather, in Minnesota in January.
Not this year.
Today it was almost 60˚F here.
Not this year.
I know! I depend on the auxiliary refrigerated storage at this time of year, especially with big dinners. But at least the soda is cool out there on the back porch and not frozen.

I was so excited about my walk-in beer cooler. But it's been on the fritz basically all winter.
One January in college I left an 8 pack of glass bottles of Coke™ on the floorboards of my back seat.
It was the weekend, so I could park near the dorm. I didn't remember them until I went to move my car to the proper parking lot on Sunday.
The old Georgia green bottles held up. The bottle caps did not.
I had sugary stalactites hanging from the headliner.
And...that story reveals how old I am. They were returnable bottles.
At least you could toss out the ice. I've had 2-liter bottles rupture and only had to mutter in annoyance as I brushed out the slush. Not so much a fan of 2 liters of pop soaking into the carpet.
Luckily frozen foamy soda is easy to dispose of if it's still frozen. Used my whisk broom, essentially.
Although there were stains on the spots that got the liquid soda on them before the stalactites formed.
