Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We all need a msbelle.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

But I'd need sleep at some point too, ND.

We all need a msbelle.

Indeed

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Ugh, askye - I hope your cousin gets treatment quickly. My grandmother had a prolapsed mitral valve because of EDS, and I have to get scanned for it annually. My grandmother's was fixed by the surgery - there seems to be good treatment, at least.

Catching up with the last season of Sherlock (never finished it) before starting the new one. They filmed a scene in the square right behind my university halls. It's fun to watch BBC dramas when you've lived in Cardiff.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

On the lighter side ... have you ever seen a cartoon where a dog or cat gets hold of their person's false teeth and is running around grinning at them? Well, it's not entirely fictional - a co-worker brought in a picture of her mother's dog who, yes, got her teeth that she'd left on a table and had them in his mouth. They weren't completely in - slightly askew - but it was still pretty funny.

Thrive to spite them

I got my car back and I caught a break. The original estimate went up from the original estimate by about $100 due to the part costing more. But it cost less and labor wasn't as much so I paid the original estimate.

And I just got my gas bill and it went down by $3! It will probably go up next month because of the cold snap but at least it's not a huge bill this month.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Askye, tons of ~ma for your cousin.

There is screaming and stomping around going on upstairs. Please let us find a house soon. I cannot take this anymore.

Thrive to spite them

SJ I hope you find a house soon! I know that's a hard way to live.

Well 2012 gives and 2012 takes. The store is over hours for the week so they cut my shift tomorrow - which means I lost 6 hours. And there's a dip in scheduling so I'm only working 4 hours next week and it may be thin for awhile.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Back from my grandmother's funeral and assorted gatherings. It is so time for a nap, but before that, I wanted to let you all know that Nora took time out of her work day to come to the visitation. It was a really lovely, kind surprise, and I'm sorry if I was a little out of it, Nora.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I've said it before, and I'm saying it again. I love us. And I love what we do for each other.

Dana, continued peace and strength to you and your entire family.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm glad you got through to the nap portion of the day, I know it must have been a long one. I was glad I could get over there... And you were just fine, Dana, especially considering the circumstances. Let me know if there's anything I can do.
