[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

I got my car back and I caught a break. The original estimate went up from the original estimate by about $100 due to the part costing more. But it cost less and labor wasn't as much so I paid the original estimate.

And I just got my gas bill and it went down by $3! It will probably go up next month because of the cold snap but at least it's not a huge bill this month.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Askye, tons of ~ma for your cousin.

There is screaming and stomping around going on upstairs. Please let us find a house soon. I cannot take this anymore.

Thrive to spite them

SJ I hope you find a house soon! I know that's a hard way to live.

Well 2012 gives and 2012 takes. The store is over hours for the week so they cut my shift tomorrow - which means I lost 6 hours. And there's a dip in scheduling so I'm only working 4 hours next week and it may be thin for awhile.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Back from my grandmother's funeral and assorted gatherings. It is so time for a nap, but before that, I wanted to let you all know that Nora took time out of her work day to come to the visitation. It was a really lovely, kind surprise, and I'm sorry if I was a little out of it, Nora.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I've said it before, and I'm saying it again. I love us. And I love what we do for each other.

Dana, continued peace and strength to you and your entire family.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm glad you got through to the nap portion of the day, I know it must have been a long one. I was glad I could get over there... And you were just fine, Dana, especially considering the circumstances. Let me know if there's anything I can do.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, I'm glad, Dana. Glad you did, Nora! Have a nice nap.

And good on you, askye.

So hard, sj. Ooh, but hey, I got your & tcg's card! Thank you!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Dana}}} Today must have been very difficult. I'm glad that Nora could be there.

Liese, I'm glad you got the card.

Thanks for the support. I shouldn't let this situation upset me this much. I went out to do errands and now I am sitting in my car and drinking a hot chocolate, waiting for TCG to get home.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

No, that's an upsetting situation. It's not you. I would be upset.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Dana, nap. It's been a stressful time.

I've said it before, and I'm saying it again. I love us. And I love what we do for each other.

We're pretty damn supportive for invisible people who may or may not be Labradoodles with excellent typing skills and an ear for snark.
