I'm sorry, Dana.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Dana, I'm so sorry. Wishing you and your family peace and comfort.
I am tempted to ask my doctor for some kind of anxiety meds, but the thought of the conversation is kind of anxiety-inducing.
Or maybe I just need to up my AD.
Dana, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Peace to you and your family (and yes, it's a good idea to talk to your doctor).
Anti-anxiety~ma, Dana.
I know you likely know this, Dana, but upping your ADs will generally take a couple of weeks to take effect. If you need immediate short term anxiety/coping~fu, a visit to the doc is likely in order.
I just dropped my sister at the airport. She started crying as we said goodbye, and I almost started crying, too. Now that my mental shit is more or less in order, I am determined to support her goal of moving out of my parents' house by her birthday in August. I'd love to have her down here, but I'm not sure that's right for her. Step one is definitely get out of parents' house and get a better job.
After dropping her I came straight to the laundromat. I loved having her visit, but have a lot I wanted to accomplish over the break, and I go back to work tomorrow.
I'm sorry, Dana. Condolences to you and your family.
Parent fail. Apparently school is in session today in Broward County. All the surrounding counties had the good sense to know it was a holiday, but not my county. Ooops, my kid is home because I didn't know. DH went to his HS figuring there was basketball practice since there was no school and found they were in session. The principal told him that half the staff and students didn't show up. At least I am not alone.
Laura, we presumed today was a school day until Matilda assured us that no, she didn't go back to school until Tuesday. Matilda was correct.
