'Soul Purpose'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Pain meds achieved. Bought frozen yogurt on my way home. It is cold as heck outside. I'd rather it snow that these freezing winds.

No alcohol for me tonight (drat it). Just some pomegranate lemonade and guilty pleasure tv.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We're back from Japantown which was our excursion for the day. We ran around, admired many Hello Kitty items, ate Taiyaki (fish shaped waffles filled with nutella) and generally expended some energy.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I went to skating practice then to the office for a few hours. got home and my husband whisked me off to a new place, where I had bratwurst with curry ketchup. Yum! Now, the slounging begins.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My NYE plans involved a friend coming over this afternoon, a few beers, then burgers at a local place. Home now with the animals, some movies and a bottle of prosecco.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

My international date line: Hey babe, do you come to this time zone often?

Oh, billytea, never change!

My plans are making pie crust for a quiche that I will bake in the morning for my sister's annual New Year's Day brunch. If I don't bring my own I will be forced to pick onions out of one of theirs and not eat the crust. So, I will make one I can eat.

I may watch some more episodes of Once Upon A Time. I'm liking it.

If I forget to wander back, Happy New Year Buffistas!

My lentil soup is done, and yummy, and I'm considering heating up some of the manicotti Mom sent home with us.

Thrive to spite them

Will and I had dinner last night and he came up and spent the night and he's spending tonight! Our first New Years Eve together.

So far we've had some fun times, took lots of naps, watched Community, made popcorn and are now about to watch hockey and watch hockey on CBC.

Our wings are not tired.

I decided to stay home. We have awesome fireworks visable from the patio and champagne. Also DH has been gone all week and the boys are both doing their own thing. So I am in my bathing suit and the spa is heating. DH went to fetch Thai and an evening outside swimming and watching fireworks is planned. Too bad I am still sick, but I didn't take drugs so I could enjoy bubbly and still be awake at midnight. At which time DH gets a handshake and rain check.
