Now I'm debating whether or not to head out on one last errand to get the HDMI cable I need to start using the gizmo I got for Christmas.

Con: I would have to get dressed and drive to somewhere with a lot of people.

Pro: I could watch movies on my TV instead of my computer. Also, if I got off my ass, I could probably get a few things done around the house while I'm at it.

No NYE plans. CJ just left for his dad's and the dojo kids have been picked up, so I'm blessedly alone and the house is even pretty clean. I foresee catching up on Tivo and lots of internet surfing.

I am waiting for my pharmacy to call back to tell me my pain meds are ready to pick up. That is my only planned trip outside of the house. Some friends were planning on a small gathering which would include fireworks but it has been windy as heck all day.

Watching movies on your TV is pretty sweet.

We're planning to go to an earlyish movie, then to a friend's house for a small party, and home before midnight (quite possibly well before -- I slept like crap last night). Tomorrow M will make Hoppin' John, I'll finish organizing the guestroom/storage room, and we'll finally watch the Doctor Who Christmas episode.

I have no plans. My parents left this morning to visit my brother. All I did this morning was make breakfast and a little grocery shopping, but I am exhausted. So, while staying home with the kids and watching movies doesn't sound very exciting, I'm very happy I haven't been asked to do anything else.

I'm going to a small pajama party to play games.

I'm washing down mac and cheese with bubbly. The former's kind to my throat and the latter is festive.

Pain meds achieved. Bought frozen yogurt on my way home. It is cold as heck outside. I'd rather it snow that these freezing winds.

No alcohol for me tonight (drat it). Just some pomegranate lemonade and guilty pleasure tv.
