Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Thank you. I'll give that a try, but right now I'm trying to overcome the paralysis that comes with this drop in confidence (and I'd gladly take Newt's, especially of it would get him to shut up). I'm having trouble starting on things, and I feel like giving up altogether on things I like (writing, drawing, etc.) because I feel like I'll never be any good. I'm having trouble getting what I know is true to override what I feel is true.

The kicker is that I'm supposed to do my trimester review, complete with self-rating, this week. HA HA HA.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Sending you the ma~~~ Anne. I always find one day of wallow will allow me to do one thing and one thing more , that gets me out of this. But - I do not suffer from severe depression nor am I you, so pay no attention to me if it doesn't make sense.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Lots of -ma, Anne. I've been there, and that head-space sucks.

But hey, WE know you are awesome, and you know you can trust us. Go with that, and remember: fake it till you make it.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Much ~ma, Anne. I hope things improve for you.

Shir, heh - that makes today seem a bit less awful. It'll be lovely to see you tomorrow, at least!

For all Virgos and other declutterer types, Better Homes & Gardens has a pretty doable month-by-month decluttering guide for 2012: [link]

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Thanks, all. I think I'm dealing with a perfect storm of peri menopausal brain chemistry plus some big job changes and a series of recent re-emergence events that have triggered some not so healthy thinking about my own life and what I have(n't) done with it

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Erin,

I am a Virgo, love to declutter when I have fucking time! Thanks for the link. Hopefully I will pay attention to it.

re: sitting shiva

I read a really funny (like I was laughing out loud the whole time I read it), but really gross, definitely rated "R" book that had this as a feature. This is where I leave you

It is wildly inappropriate and the shiva was seven days.

Le N, I didn't know you were a fella Virgo! WOOT!

Course, I am on the cusp of Leo/Virgo (8/23) so I am a clean, detail-oriented freak with pretty hair and a vivacious charm.

According to Astrology.com, which is a PERFECTLY CROMULENT PSEUDOSCIENCE, RIGHT?

Le sigh. Back to le cleaning. Pre-NYE, but hey, it also means I start the new year off with a clean house, so...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Lots of ~ma for you, Anne. This time of year steals so much of whatever coping mechanisms we have.

{{{Seska&Girl}}}

bonny, you are still in my thoughts.

Aims, I love that picture of you and your sister - and I'm glad your meeting with her went so well.
