Go, smonster, go! My to-do list:
- Write check for catsitter, leave with instructions on table
- Write check to choir pal, put in mail
- Fold laundry
- Pack
- Wash stuff that can't go in dishwasher
- Email L
- Call M
Tomorrow morning:
- Take out compost
- Run dishwasher
Hmm. Is that it? I feel like there was more. Though it's really the packing that is the onerous part.
My list (for tomorrow)
- make mocha cookies
- bake off the cranberry-pistachio icebox cookies
- give smonster cookies when she stops by
- shower and prep for fancy dinner at Restaurant August
- unload dishwaher
- follow up on packages sent to my mom and sister
I am loving staying home for Christmas!
My list for tomorrow:
- 1 load laundry
- pick up a couple more gifts
- pack my stuff for weekend
- remember the figs/gifts for Christmas
- hair cut?
- dye hair?
- gather all the planning stuff
- sweep kitchen floor
- do any dishes
- put out trash and recycling
I love only having to drive forty minutes!
I'm not leaving til Saturday, so my list for tomorrow is really:
- work
- buy coffee for BIL present
- go to friend's hanukkah party
- try not to run screaming with boredom
I went to the ginormous liquor store and got an unbroken stein (as well as a chardonnay and a shiraz, for lo, I am weak in the face of good wine) and even wrapped it as soon as I got home.
And 7-layer miracle not-cookie bars are in the oven.
I even did dishes.
Thus endeth my to-do list.
My list - make a list! But that will happen tomorrow. I spent the last 6 days with DH at a basketball tournament. The last few years I couldn't attend out of town tournaments because I had to take care of Brandy, or business, or kids. This year I realized I could join him. I was the entire cheer leading crew and I know the boys and coaches appreciated my support.
I have not purchased even one Christmas gift. I did get my dear gf a Hanukkah gift. But tomorrow is another day and being able to join Brendon and participate in his passion was a good thing. Also, the team did me proud. They impressed a whole lot of people not easily impressed. Woot!
Reading the list making here has me inspired - for tomorrow. (did I mention that my poor son is reading GWTW for his lit class, pity him)
Oh, sweet Jesus. 7-layer bar dealie made with oats instead of graham crackers?
It is the cracktastic love child of Samoas and no-bake cookies. Oh my lord.
t edit
And now I need a glass of milk.
Ooh, Steph, those sound amazing. Mmm, cookies.
List update!

Now it is time for bed, except that all that industrious work has made me hungry! But also sleepy, and I think that will win out.

Whew, now I can sleep. No, not really...I have to finish watching American Horror Story. But yay for gluten free magic cookie bar samoas hybrids!
