Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I refuse to have orgasms for peace.

Well, duh. We know ita is ALL ABOUT the fighting...ahem.

I need to do work today. DONT WANNA. Even my brilliant plan to bring my laptop upstairs to my office and stream netflix is not motivating me.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Tom Tomorrow's "Merry Christmas from Batman" [link] funny, but not recommended for anyone who has recently lost people they love or is worrying about losing people they love.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

It's December 21 - you may have thought it was just the solstice and the first day of Hanukkah, but did you know that it's also Global Orgasm for Peace day?

Hmm, was looking for an excuse to text StW.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Got it, Sparky.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I can't do much about an orgasm for any reason just sitting here at the computer with Harvey happily ensconced in his sling, purring his little heart out. I asked him if he would like to dedicate his purrs to global peace. He said, "mwep". I'll take that as a yes, and skritch his cheeks and chin and neck.

Thrive to spite them

I've been so lazy today, except for crocheting and I'm closer to getting all my projects done. I need to take pictures so I can show off after xmas.

And I wrapped presents, but I'm putting off going to the post office until tomorrow. There's stuff that will be getting to the family by xmas. I think I'm finally getting hit with some winter blahs.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

This week I am king of daddies. I am the Toddler Whisperer. Wallybee decided to give Ryan a haircut with a pair of electric trimmers, and I turned a shrieking, terrified little boy into a happy haircutee.

This parenting gig is awesome. Since the haircut, Ryan has taken to informing us that he is a "boo'ful boy". (No argument from me.)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I refuse to have orgasms for peace.

Well, duh. We know ita is ALL ABOUT the fighting...ahem.

Can ita ! kick people in the head for peace? That would be awesome. And you know, unconscious people are totally peaceful. Even more peaceful than recently-orgasmed people.
