Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

WTH, sj? That's so not on.

She is worried that it could be something other than a uti. She's being overcautious, and I don't think she knows me well enough yet to understand I know my body. But I'm really not interested in going in again and having to pay another co-pay. It's also another delay in starting antibiotics. I'll talk to my doctor about it tomorrow.

Always Anti-fascist!

Epic, so sorry about Domino. Hope Daniel's leg gets better soon.

brillig

On the upside, Daniel tells me the doc said his leg is improving. It looks more icky, but I keep reminding myself it is just part of the process.

I'm remembering my stint in the hospital with septicemia in my leg. I very much resent that my enforced four-day vacation was wasted on drugged sleep and being barely able to focus on daytime TV.

As one who has been on both sides of the hospital bed rail, Andi, power to the spouse.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Adding to the "Take care of yourself, Andi" chorus, and am very glad to hear Daniel's leg is getting better!

Question: TCG's doctor just called to confirm his appointment, and I asked if TCG could get a flu shot when he was there. The woman on the phone said he won't give them yet because they would no longer be useful in fighting the flu come February. True or bullshit?

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I call bullshit. They're doing flu shot clinics here at work starting next Tuesday.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

sj, the flu vaccine changes every year; has the new one come out? That's still a weird thing to say, though, because flu season kicks in waaaay before February.

Man, why people gotta lie alla the time?

Epic, I'm so very sorry about Domino.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I have already gotten mine, and I would prefer that TCG get his before we get on sickness factory known as an airplane.

Librarian Warlord

BS, sj. The CDC says to get a shot as soon as it is available because the flu season starts as early as October.
