{{{askye}}} I am so so sorry, honey. You were a wonderful human to her and you loved her.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
askye, I'm so sorry! You did everything you could, it's not your fault.
ND, I can only sympathize and wish you and your family well. I've been there, trying to help an aging parent, it's so very hard.
Askye, I'm terribly sorry. Everyone is right - you did exactly what the vet said. Please don't feel guilty. I'm so glad you have Dean there to snuggle you.
Askye, I'm so sorry. Please don't feel guilty.
Thanks everyone. It was just such a shock and I'm feeling less...shocky and I do realize I did everything I could.
I just remembered something I've been meaning to mention one of the exhibits next year at the Shelburne Museum is going to be "Time Machines: Robots, Rockets, and Steampunk".
The season doesn't start until May but I'm excited about the exhibit and if I can take pictures I will. Steampunk yay!
I am very sorry, askye.
I'm so sorry Askye. You are a great pet owner and advocate. I'm glad Will could be there and that you got to talk to your parents.
I guess the next step is trying to decide if I want to stay a 1 cat household or take on another cat. My neighbor is moving and is getting rid of one her kittens. But I know that someone may want it.
I think I'm going to watch Dean and see how he does. I'm concerned that without a playmate he'll get bored and be destructive. He already has a bad habit of knocking things off flat surfaces when he's bored. He's broken several glasses that way.
That is such a personal thing I don't think I can even give meta advice on the decision making process let alone say anything about the decision. I will say that I trust you to make the right decision, whatever it turns out to be.
