I've been watching Maddie and her breathing is off, so Monday I'll call the vet back and make another appointment and I guess we'll start doing tests.
Oh askye, I hope Maddie is okay. Breathing oddities can be so stressful!
Bartleby has been breathing weird at night, ever since the
blood snorting
incident just before Halloween. Kind of a gurgly, snuffling. It absolutely rivets me. I can't even breathe myself as I stare at him, waiting for the breath to get back to normal.
I have no explanation and the doctors aren't willing to pursue it while he's recovering.
I hope all goes well for Maddie. May it be a simple phase.
Health~ma for Maddy and B-boy!
Pix, if there is anything I can do to help, let me know. I miss you and ND a LOT.
t tacklehugs Jilli
Miss you too. Will I see you for lunch next Saturday?
YES! I don't know the details yet, but YES. And I may try and figure out how to fold myself up into a carry-on bag so I can go back with you.
Noise Design, may this situation with your mom get resolved soon - a real, workable solution.
good luck and love to all - esp the family stuff for ND
It looks like we have some stuff coming that way with DH's family.
so I am concentrating on the things I can control- and blogged about the fly lady

Ken MacLeod with a bit Scottish humor I think even those of us who are not Scottish can appreciate. Worth at least a "heh". [link]
Scientific Buffistas may especially appreciate it.
Noise Design, I'm so sorry. I know that when Tom and I needed to make decisions about his mom, it was really, really hard. Still dealing with the fallout from that, and, after her death, it's still hard.
Uh, I know that's probably not very comforting, but I guess I just wanted you to know that I know a little bit where you're coming from, and I'm sorry. I wish you all the strength in the world to make decisions that are best for your mother and your sister and you.
ND, I haven't said anything because I don't know what to say. I'm so sorry for the stress, and I hope you find a solution soon, with a minimum of drama.
I'm back from Thanksgiving 4: In It to Din It at Nora's house. And it was DELICIOUS. And then we watched Doctor Who (I hadn't seen the finale) so I can say WTF? with the rest of y'all.
