Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay for moving stuff smonster! And for nice dog park friends with functional stuff-moving vehicles!
Eek, Scrappy. How frighteningly nonsensical. I feel bad for the kid, but also sort of hoping the grounding forever actually sticks. This is a life lesson that should not be lost!
Oh, bonny. Thinking healing thoughts for Bartleby. B-boy! You must chill! You must chill!
You must chill! You must chill!
seee-reee-ooouuusly.
It's a good thing I color my hair. I'm fairly certain every single strand has gone white over the last two months. Too much stress.
Plus guilt. I let him run...and took incredible joy from it. But, eh. Not worth it.
eta: heh. That typo was too precious to leave.
Deep breath, bonny. He probably just pulled a stitch. Chill, B-Boy! The skwirrels will wait for you.
Scrappy, thank goodness the kid is okay! May he never do anything so stupid again.
Thanksgiving was completely stress and drama free. Astonishing. Well, our Drama Queen wasn't there, so it's not really that surprising, but still.
Drew, I'm sorry about the suckitude of your family drama.
Scrappy, I'm glad the kid is not literally dead. May the metaphorical dead of the lifetime grounding do the job it needs to do.
Bartleby - don't DO that to your human. {{{{bonny}}}}
Today is the little guy's first day without pain meds. I'll be curious to see how it goes. He has GREAT energy this morning. I hope that lasts.
No more 'incidents' following yesterday's run, so we've got that going for us.
bonny, I'm glad there don't seem to be long term effects. Hope he does okay off the meds.
Man, I am so in "don't wanna" land with this move. I waited too long to request the power/gas turn-on, so it won't happen until Monday, so I can't fully move until then. But it'll be a lot easier to move the big stuff this weekend. I need someone with a better planning brain than I have to help me figure this out.
What needs figuring? Which things to move when?
That part is relatively easy. What resources are available in regards to help/strong backs?
The largest items are moved when there are people to move them. Then, the least relevant stuff...ie, things that can be left in boxes until you have time for them get moved to the least trafficked areas of the new place.
Put a couple of boxes out for necessaries and they go last.
My grandfather used to say, "Three moves is as good as a fire." Yeah, I know, not completely helpful. But still you have my sympathy.

Well, I think my bed is the exception, because I don't want to sleep there until the power is on, which won't be until Monday afternoon. Also a factor, the weather. It's supposed to rain today, although maybe not until later. And I haven't done a very good job of mustering assistance in a coordinated way. And I haven't done any packing today. Uggh.
