The largest items are moved when there are people to move them. Then, the least relevant stuff...ie, things that can be left in boxes until you have time for them get moved to the least trafficked areas of the new place.
Well, I think my bed is the exception, because I don't want to sleep there until the power is on, which won't be until Monday afternoon. Also a factor, the weather. It's supposed to rain today, although maybe not until later. And I haven't done a very good job of mustering assistance in a coordinated way. And I haven't done any packing today. Uggh.

Very good point. In my universe, the bed is the one big necessary that goes last because I need to sleep in order to do all the rest.
The not yet packing may turn out to be a good thing as you need to adjust for weather.
Personally, I tend to begin with books because they are so orderly and satisfying. Gives me energy for the rest.
I need to step away from the computer and get stuff done myself. I've portioned a certain percentage of the weekend to clean closets. My favorite!
Yeah, books/DVDs are done. What's left is the kitchen, clothes, and random crap that's all over.
Happy closet cleaning!!
Drew I hope the family stuff goes as well as it can.
Bonny, I hope Bartleby is okay off his pain meds.
ND’s family drama this time around is truly epic. The situation is really not going to be easy or pleasant to solve. I wish I could do more.
Oh so Maddie's vet trip went okay I guess, but the vet noticed she was breathing funny but I wasn't sure if she was breathing like this regularly or just at the vet. (I feel like the most unobservant pet owner right now).
I've been watching Maddie and her breathing is off, so Monday I'll call the vet back and make another appointment and I guess we'll start doing tests. She's not wheezing or making noise when she breathes, but she's breathing kinda fast and the in/out motion of breathing is really obvious.
Askye, I’m so sorry about the situation with Maddie. I hope you find a solution.
Sorry about ND's family drama, Pix. Some of them just aren't solvable, sadly.
Health-~ma to Maddie and Bartleby.
A friend of mine just pointed out the lead to a story in this [link] :
A novel scheme to repel mosquitoes and combat the diseases they spread with lasers is being funded by the world's second-richest man
Mosquitoes using lasers? Yikes!
Even the Oxford comma can't save that sentence.
How hard would it have been to write, "A novel scheme using lasers to repel mosquitoes and combat the diseases they spread is being funded by the world's second-richest man"?
'ma for ND. Sorry to hear it. I hate family drama.
