Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Compassionately intolerant

smonster, while I have sympathy for the fuck Mondays sentiment, I have to say that this is my favorite Monday in an age.

You can read all about it here.

I'll xpost in Beep Me so all the incredibly generous Buffistas can get the scoop, but the short of it is that, halfway through his recovery, Bartleby is doing better than could have been expected.

We had his drain removed today and found out that the biopsy showed NO CANCER CELLS. So, we are doing the happy dance around here.

If you are of a mind, you can see a photo of the uber-ugly wounds left by the surgery in my blog post about it. It makes clear how incredible it is that he's doing so well.

Given that Dr. Griffin (whitefonted for grossness) removed roughly half of his sphincter and cut the right sphincter nerve, the fact that he is pooping at about 99.7% is nothing short of a miracle. Go carefully Bartleby's tush!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift
