Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's terrific, bonny!

GC, it's nice to see your pixels and your pics.

Hil, that would drive me nuts, too.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm still sick and hacking up a lung, sj, but my mental health is better than it was a week and a half ago.

How are you? Have you fallen in love with any houses yet?

Better mental health is a good thing, or so I have heard. I hope you are physically feeling better soon.

We saw some nice houses yesterday (and one really nasty one), but nothing that was quite perfect yet. I really want a one floor house to make it easier for me, and that narrows the possibilities down considerably.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

bonny, that's wonderful news about B-boy! However much the incisions are bothering him now, I bet his backside feels 100% better than it did before.

The status is NOT quo.

Hi everyone. Thanks so much for all the kind words. The pain at this point is frustrating. I wake up feeling okay, but as soon as I eat or start moving around, it comes back. Basically (whitefonted for the squeamish) there’s loose blood and such in my abdominal cavity from the rupture and until it dissipates, I’m stuck with the pain. I have an appointment with my obgyn tomorrow to talk about the remaining cysts and find out if I need to change my BC pills to something more potent. Hoping to get some answers.

sj, I hope you find the perfect house.

Maria, I’ve been thinking about you. Sorry to hear you’re sick, but I’m glad you’re doing a bit better mentally.

Bonny, YAY! So happy for you and B!

GC, so good to see your pixels! We should get together some time soon so I can see the beautiful boy in person!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Bonny, that is wonderful news!

In other news, Jeeves nearly scared the daylights out of me today. Usually he's at the door when I come home, but today--no sign. He was in in none of his usual hiding spots, and all I could think was that I had to dash back inside after I'd opened the garage door because I'd forgotten my security badge for work. It was a quick in-and-out, and I thought I had kept an eye out for him.

Anyhow, no sign of the cat, so as far as I can tell, he'd had a good 10 hours to wander. It's dark out, and so many places he could have gone.

After a good solid panic, I go to head back outside, and it turns out he'd been in the breezeway between the kitchen and the garage. I have no idea if he'd been in there all day, or if he managed to dash in there right when I came in. Usually, he cries out if he's shut in somewhere, but this time he was quiet.

Still shaking...

Thrive to spite them

bonny that's excellent news!

I screwed up my money. I have money now but I was late paying a credit card bill, I did online payment but the way I did it, they still don't have the money so now I'm hit by a pretty hefty fee.

Tomorrow I'm getting snow tires, which is good because it's supposed to snow Wednesday.

I'm cat sitting again, both my neighbors kittens this time. And they are both starving but so far there's no real hissing. Only minor hissing. I found out there's some kind of pipe or vent in the other apartment and both kittens have been using it to the basement, but only one figured out how to get back.

Anne I'm glad you found Jeeves.
