Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay, having someone with you makes staying up way easier. Good luck!
I'm at a dance convention in San Diego. I am hella intimidated--everyone here is amazing (this is west coast swing, not my usual two-step). But I'm seeing my college roommate who I haven't seen, we realized, in NINE years. Crazy.
I'm very tired - it has been a hella of a week. Time for ibuprophin and bed
sending out the ma~~ to all in need
Morning, all! smonster, I hope you got your stuff mostly done, and I hope the fundraiser goes smashingly.
bonny, I think you are being super-sensible and your reasoning is very logical and healthy. And I too like to hear about your peace march stories!
I backslid a little yesterday. I spent 3 hours, no shit, staring blankly out my office window, just chock full of ennui. I got some stuff done, but about 1/8 of things I wanted to do.
I am determined to do better today. I CAN DO THIS.
...right?
...RIGHT.
Do stuff, report back here, get gold stars. Or virtual hairpats, coffee, kittens, fic, makeout sessions or whatever will make you feel encouraged and cheered on.
Laundry is in, I am wrestling with my ancient iTouch (it's too old to install this Mango app for tracking my meds and such, SOB, and it's not available for Android (my phone)yet.
I am going to work on my websites, sweep and mop my office and hallway, plant some herbs in the cute 4 pots Mom got me for Xmas, take a walk, go to Happy Hour yoga with one of my besties at 5 and try out this meditation CD.
And eat. I think maybe I felt like shit because the 'roids nixed my appetite.
My rash is clearing up crazy well! I wonder if I covered my neck rash with gauze pads and duct tape if I could safely dye my hair. It's been 5 months, and it's so freaking depressing looking...
Right! What JZ said!
Another crazed day here. Up and out and back already this morning because I had to drive Bobby to school. He was teaching a friend to drive a stick yesterday and they ran over a parking lot bumper and ripped a slit in his gas tank. Apparently not a tough fix, but puts his vehicle out of commission in the meantime.
Tonight is Bobby's prom. Silly as it is this is fun for me because I never went to mine and his brother didn't go so this is the only one. Instead of renting a tux he is going with a blue blazer, white slacks, and a peach shirt with white collar and cuffs. Now to learn to tie the white bow tie. Thank heaven for YouTube! No date. Apparently a large portion of the class is going in groups of people.
Of course, the usual massive amount of work and stuff to do today. Sigh.
I wonder if I covered my neck rash with gauze pads and duct tape
I would skip the duct tape. Put a bunch of Vaseline on your neck and just stick the gauze to it.

This makes me nostalgic for the early Bitch days when this was the thread for fic and makeout sessions. When birthdays were celebrated with fic written celebrating the birthday person.

How Miami chic! Going with a group sounds so much less stressful that the Forced March Date O'Doom I went to my one prom with. Good for Bobby!
Gold Stars! I'm ready to make this a gold star day!
Okay, not as much ready as determined. I only got 4 hours of sleep due to being strung out over the Peace March guys and then waking up to worry.
Seeeewww, I took Cagney on a walk to the local hardware store and bought a kitchen timer to do the 25 on/5 off productivity lark.
I am currently in my 5 off.
Today, I have an evaluation walk with a walker having trouble with a French Bulldog of my acquaintance...he's a thug, no lie.
I also need to figure out what to do to follow up with the hospital charity department who has had my application for 70 days now, without a peep.
Since it is the new moon, I'm focusing on tidying up, rather than starting anything new so...clean at least SOME of the things! Get set up to get stuff done on bigger projects. File all the papers. Finish script for video gift to my 8 year old friend which will be titled, "How to be a successful pop star."
Empty dish washer. Vacuum greatroom.
If all goes well, play date this afternoon for Cagney.
Ready, set, go!
I don't own Vaseline, and am too broke to buy some. I will coat it with olive oil and still duct tape it. I am paranoid about this rash -- it was AWFUL!
OK, my hair dye and giving myself a pedi will be my reward for a walk. And I will mop the office and hall pre-walk so it will be dry when I get back.
(I know this is boring for y'all, but I already caught myself staring out the window again.)
That's an impressive lot of stuff-doing already! And hair dye and pedi sound like a lovely treat.
