Yay Ford!
She's from SF and her name is Christine. I'm wondering if she knows JZ--she does Dickens Fair and Renn Faire stuff.
That reminds me -- I realized that my cousin might know JZ, for the same reasons. Her name is Ann and she's got red hair. Currently uses her husband's last name, which is a pretty common Spanish name, but she's been married a few times before, so you might have known her with a different last name. Her first name has always been Ann and her hair has always been red, though.
Her first name has always been Ann and her hair has always been red, though.
I sure hope her RenFaire name is Red Ann.
Congrats! Welcome to the world and a fabulous family, Ford.
Completely separately, has anyone heard from Trudy? Her mom has been on my mind.
Yay, welcome to the world, Ford!
Welcome to the world, Ford! You're a sneaky one. I was waiting to hear news of you all day, and you arrive after I go out and forget my cellphone, and therefore the internet, at home.
Her stepmom, if you're talking about the airport incident. She's been on FB today.
Sorry, yes, stepmom. Thanks.
Steph - bladder spasms can happen with Interstitial Cystitis. I don't know the cause but I know that people with it have them.
There's also a good portion of people who have GI problems, like IBS along with IC. So there's a theory they are inter related somehow.
There's no clear cut test to say if you have IC or not but it's something you might want to explore with your doctors to, at the very least, rule it out as a cause of your problems.
Hey, Suzy and everyone else.
SO happy to hear about baby Ford.
No clue on what happens next with Step Mom. They lifted sedation and she got agitated to the point of messing with her tubes so they re-sedated her. They've got her heart rate stabilized. Once they de-intubate (outubate?) in the next day or so (pending her heart rate staying put I think) they'll lift sedation again.
I was with her this weekend un-sedated but its hard to say "conscious". If you say her name, she turns her head to you. Her eyes are usually rolled-back, not making contact. It's hard to tell what she's getting and what she's not. They say there are no signs of brain damage with the tests they've been able to do. She'll raise her hand, but when I hold it she doesn't grasp. This freaks Dad and me out similarly.
