HOW did I not know that David Tennant and I share a birthday? I cannot believe this delicious detail escaped my attention.
So. My goals for this year of my life are many, but the first is to do whatever it takes to break the hold sugar has on me.
In what can only be described as my very own self-destruct impulse, I ordered some cupcakes for my last hurrah. My next door neighbor manages a well known cupcakery, so it was easy.
The best news is, I didn't even enjoy what of them I ate. I'm giving one away in the Chinese tradition of giving gifts on one's day.
I will take that as a good start!
