Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yep. That is why they are my preference as a practitioner. I'm a huge fan of real resolution, you know?

I've learned from my own experience that you don't have to give up your stories, but you gotta stop letting them drive the boat.

I did straight talk therapy for years and years. It had real value for me, but it was not until I got into CBT and RET that I actually made real progress.

Zen, the thing about the work is that it may be hard, but it ends.

In the latest chapter of sleep news, I passed a BB&B on the way home from the doctor today and snagged a 'light reduction' curtain.

Now, I don't have to think about it anymore.

I'm in the first throes of a migraine...which I haven't had in a loooong time...so I'm hoping the sleep is still good.

The doctor's appointment consisted of the pod poking my toenail with a toothpick and exclaiming, "That looks great!" and then telling me that I didn't actually need to take a blood test this month.

Soooo. Why did I need an appointment really?

After the 90 second 'exam' he chirped, "See you in thirty days for another blood test!"

Yeah. I don't think so. I'll be off the med by then, so, unless the rampant improvement comes to a halt along the way, I don't see a need to go back at all!

Woot.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That's all very helpful advice, bonny.

Des hommes et des chatons.

OK, lots of lovely on that site, but the hell?!? The cognitive dissonance gives me a headache.

NSFW btw.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Love everything about that!

Bonnie, I have been fighting a migraine the last few days. It is my own darned fault too. When the nightly meds I take keep the migraine away and then I forget to pick up my refill on time, I'm reminded that the drugs really do keep the migraine away.

Anyway, today it has just been lurking and I was dreading going out for K-Bug's birthday dinner. Somehow, the restaurant noise became white noise for me and (whispering) the migraine seems to have departed.

I sat next to KCD's wife and we had a blast. I think it still freaks KCD out that B and I get along well.

[EDIT] And I just realized I got it from Zenkitty.

not your mom's socks.

We are headed into NYC today. HPF has been saving her allowance for the trip. I may need to borrow from her.

Thank you Liese and Smonster and everyone for the waves and hugs. Hoping I can un-lurk soon.

Give my regards and all that, Sox.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It turns out the cupcake place that we're considering for our wedding is literally across the street from my office (tucked back in a strip mall dealie, so it's not like it was right smack on the street next to BP and I just didn't notice). So I'ma get me a cupcake at lunch. (They do some gluten-free, which is reason #1 I like them.)

Tim is coming around to the idea of cupcakes. Mostly because I told him I would bring him home a cupcake today. I forgot how easy he is to persuade with tasty baked goods.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ooh! I just had an idea. Cupcakes may generate more crumbs but actual cake will require more plates and forks and the washing of same. So if that's still an issue, I think it's pretty much a wash.
