There are no absolutes. No right and wrong. Haven't you learned anything working for the Powers? There are only choices.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Cass, I'm thinking all kinds of warm, huglike thoughts for you. Harvey is on my lap, purring up a storm, so we're sending purr vibes as well. I'm sorry for your loss, and I'm sorry that words are so useless in times like these. But I am very glad you have Kristin with you.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm grateful that Pix is able to deliver F2F the loving comfort so difficult to convey from afar.

All sympathies, Cass and family.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm grateful Kristin was here last night.

I'm going to make her get up soon and do yoga. Hoping it's a class I can cry through because that's probably inevitable.

(Huh. You can't just type and have things post themselves.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Probably. You'll find yourself crying through a lot of stuff, some unexpected, in my experience. You just go with it and don't worry about what anyone thinks.

Always Anti-fascist!

I can't decide if it's great or shabby that my childhood BFF was planning to move to Florida without telling me about it. Our relationship has subsisted on fumes and nostalgia for a long time now(Plus, there was an embarrassing thing between her dad and my mom that has made keeping in touch now...awkward, to say the least. So that's the "Great! I'm free," part.) But really...we've known each other for, like, 35 years, and that's the best you can do?(of course, her parents were the kind of hippies that thought they were freeing their children by not teaching them manners, so my mom's voice is in my ear right now, all "What would you expect?" and only partially because her dad tried to hit on her.) For a long time, we had each other, and that was about it.(Which I do understand having mixed feelings about, but...)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Cass, I'm glad Kristin's there to be support, and hope yoga is cathartic.

erika, it's always weird when a long-term friendship goes poof.
