Ginger, it is good to hear that your tests are encouraging. Yay for good drugs that help enable you to do some of the things you need to do as well as some that you enjoy.
Massive quantities of stress in the Holt household. House/Bank/Evil stuff that might have some kind of movement in some direction this week. It isn't in my nature to worry or stress out, but I am feeling it big time. I'm trying to channel it. I swam for an hour yesterday. Just hate this feeling of helplessness. Yuck.
I guess the hip fractures are hairline. The ribs were broken, but there's not much you can do about broken ribs. Two were pretty painful.
You are made of strong stuff, woman.
I think I'm just stubborn.
Stubborn works, too. So happy for all the good-as-it-can-be news!

Ugh. This saga is so evil, and has gone on for so long, that you are entitled to All The Stress, with heaping side dish of Raaaaaaage. I hope it gets sorted out soon.

Stubborn is good. Keep being stubborn!
When I was in London with Grandma E (we were there on a package tour) we had 2 1/2 days in London and everyone was trying to cram everything in. We decided to be picky. We went to the London Musuem and, it turned out, spend about 6 hours there. But they had a special exhibition for the Rosetta Stone about the whole history of it and it was really cool.
We also went to the Sherlock Holmes Museum. And took taxis instead of dealing with the underground or buses.
I did my first day of real yard work yesterday. I was exhausted, but it felt good.
YAY!
Apparently I have numerous rib fractures and fractures in both hips, which is why my oncologist keeps offering the good drugs. He basically said, "Just don't do anything that really hurts," which is not much help, because I'm always doing things that hurt.
Yikes! But, yay good drugs. and good test results.

Ugh, I'm so sorry. I hope it ends soon for you.
I'm glad the PET scan and blood work are good, Ginger. You are a total hero for doing yardwork despite a few hairline fractures. Either that or the good stuff is REALLY good.

Fingers crossed that it's in the right direction and you can transfer that stress off of your plate and onto the bank's.
Ginger, you just keep on being stubborn. Stubborn is good.
Laura, may this rage-inducing saga soon be over and resolved in your favor.
We went to see the Crown Jewels. My companions were riveted. I was, okay, shiny, next! Staring at them wasn't my thing. If I could have touched them, I'd have been there quite a while. Going to museums and such places can be difficult if you and your companions don't have similar interests and physical/mental needs. I tend to feel kind of trapped there, especially in places that herd you through instead of letting visitors wander at will.
Of course, my experiences at museums etc is colored strongly by both my aversion to being around lots of people, and by how badly my back is hurting that day.
I'd totes do the British Museum again and again. I'd like to see the Tower of London again too.
The Tower of London was awesome. The week I was in London was the first or second week in June, and it was sunny and in the 70s all week -- except the day I went to the Tower. That day was gloomy and overcast, which I thought was perfect for going to the Tower. I also ate fish & chips outside the Tower. It felt like a total tourist experience.
I think the Tower was probably my favorite, followed closely by the Globe Theatre reproduction.
